EventWell, the charitable and community social enterprise, educating, campaigning and supporting better mental health and wellbeing in events, is delighted to bring its Hub by EventWell® Wellbeing Bar, Quiet Room and Sensory Space to The Meetings Show 2022.
The quiet and sensory room will offer a quiet space where attendees and exhibitors can find calm to help with overwhelm or anything they may be feeling or experiencing.
The wellbeing bar will offer a space where attendees and exhibitors can rest and digest, as well as take advantage of a number of sessions and activities designed to offer top tips and support for self-care and self-help to manage stress and overwhelm in the office and onsite, as well as offering water, decafs and alcohol free drinks.
The EventWell® Hub will be manned by EventWell Hosts, who are trained in mental health first aid and neurodiversity awareness.
“We are delighted to be working with The Meetings Show for the second year running, and to be celebrating their 10th edition with a simple but complete event wellbeing offering, ensuring that mental health, wellbeing and neurodiversity are at the forefront of accessibility and inclusion for the show, and sealing the passion and commitment from the team on the importance of this.”
Helen Moon, Chief Executive, EventWell®
Jack Marczewski, Event Director, The Meetings Show, said: “EventWell’s Quiet Room was a welcome addition to The Meetings Show last year so we’re thrilled to be able to continue the partnership with Helen and her team for our 10th edition show. It’s vital that we support better mental health and wellbeing in events and the Hub by EventWell® Wellbeing Bar, Quiet Room and Sensory Space will allow us to do that at The Meetings Show 2022.”
