Published by Neil ThompsonStadium Experience has had a record-breaking year with 20 new member venues joining the association during 2024, an increase of 38%. This takes the total member venues to 72 – The highest number of member venues ever in the associations 22-year history.
The very newest members have joined since the summer, and include; Derby County Football Club, Derbyshire County Cricket Club, Heart of Midlothian Football Club, Lords Cricket, Rangers Football Club, Sale Sharks Rugby, Salford Red Devils Rugby, and Walsall Football Club. This follows 12 new members joining Stadium Experience earlier in 2024, which includes; Aberdeen Football Club, Blackpool Football Club, Brentford Football Club, Exeter City Football Club, Fulham Football Club, Gloucester Rugby Club, Kent Cricket, Leicester Tigers Rugby Club, Leigh Leopards Rugby Club, Manchester United Football Club, Manchester United Women Football Club, and Nottingham Forest Football Club.
The growing membership has seen all previous record broken, and is officially the highest number of member venues joined to the association ever in its 22-year history. The not-for-profit marketing consortium was first established in 2002 by 5 football clubs wanting to collaborate to share ideas and develop a voice for the stadium industry. The purpose of the association remains the same today with sharing best practice and promoting stadia as unique and prestigious venues for meetings, conferences and events. Venues sign-up to jointly promote their venues, network and meet like-minded professionals from other stadium venues, share ideas and challenges, as well as participate in the prestigious Stadium Events & Hospitality Awards, now in their 18th year.

Derby County Football Club
Pride Park Stadium is the home to Derby County Football Club. Opening in 1997, the iconic midlands-based stadium offers 10 unique lounges and 33 executive boxes, with the ability to hold a range of guest sizes, from 10 to 500. Situated in the heart of the UK, Pride Park provides excellent transport links and over 350 complimentary car parking spaces.
Derbyshire County Cricket Club
The County Ground is home to Derbyshire County Cricket Club. The venue boasts 11 adaptable spaces suitable for up to 350 guests either theatre or banquet style, ideal for conferences, meetings, weddings, proms and more. The venue also offers free parking for up to 500 cars.
Heart of Midlothian Football Club
Tynecastle Park is home to Heart of Midlothian Football Club in Edinburgh. Located in the heart of the city, it features Tynecastle Park Hotel, the first UK football club-owned and operated hotel and the award-winning Skyline Restaurant. Lords Cricket Ground
Lord’s Cricket Ground, the iconic home of Marylebone Cricket Club in London, is a world-renowned venue steeped in cricketing history. Boasting 21 distinctive event spaces and 72 impressive executive boxes, it offers an unparalleled setting for any occasion.
Sale Sharks Rugby & Salford Red Devils Rugby
Salford Community Stadium is the home of both Sale Sharks Rugby and Salford Red Devils Rugby. The venue boasts a series of 18 stunning suites including 12 executive boxes featuring spectacular pitch views that can host events ranging from 10-1,000 guests. The stadium also boasts over 1000 sqm of space ideal for exhibitions and 600 free parking spaces.
Rangers Football Club
The Ibrox Stadium in Glasgow is home to Rangers Football Club. The venue offers 20 unique event spaces, for up to 500 theatre style and 300 banquet set up, as well as 13 executive boxes ideal for smaller meetings.
Walsall Football Club
The Poundland Bescot Stadium in the West Midlands is home to Walsall Football Club. With over 15 function rooms catering for 2 – 600 people, the venue is the ideal venue for all types of meetings conferences and events. The venue also boasts an onsite hotel as well as 1,000 complimentary parking spaces.
