They include Swiss Epic Tours, famed for its chocolate tours and walking trips, as well as Magic Travels DMC & Magic Camps, which STAR Your World will support in representation for Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Oman, France and Jordan. With the vaccination programme in full swing across Europe and much of the Middle East, international travel is already beginning to resume. Destinations are likely to open to UK visitors later in the year, with events to follow before the end of 2021.
In Switzerland the event planning offer will be extremely diverse, offering everything from winter ski trips to glacier helicopter trips and summer lake tours. It’s an accessible destination for those coming from the UK, with regular flights offered from all UK cities. The region prides itself on promoting sustainable tourism, a factor that British businesses are increasingly considering when they organise events. Whether it’s rail travel, cycling or mountaineering, there’s plenty of options for adventurous, active trips across the region. As well as exploring the great outdoors, visitors can also indulge in some food tasting options, including chocolate and cheeses. Magic Travels DMC employs experts across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Oman, France and Jordan with inside local knowledge on the very best restaurants, activities and cultural tours in every country. The team is fluent in eight languages including Arabic, English and French, meaning it can help corporate groups to organise events with speed and efficiency in all its locations. Tours are bespoke to each group, and built around the desired outcomes of the company they’re working with. Like Swiss Epic Tours, they have increased focus on sustainable travel, with volunteering options available for groups in a wide range of destinations. In Oman, Abu Dhabi and Dubai the DMC recently launched Magic Camps, a luxury, eco-friendly glamping option for group bookings. Situated out in the desert, activities such as dancing, henna workshops and dune bashing can be arranged at the camps, so that guests can gain some insight into the local history and culture. From corporate dinners to cocktail receptions and team building options, these spaces will offer truly unique experiences for guests.
