Welcome to our regular check-ins with our official wellbeing partners, Stress Matters - headed up by the wonderful Laura Capell-Abra.

Stress matters are running an online Mental Health First Aider Course, which is particularly pertinent right now where we might be concerned about ourselves or our colleagues in this challenging time.

Beginning on Monday 14 December, the course is the mental health equivalent of physical first aid. The training provides participants with the skills and confidence to recognise the signs and symptoms of common mental health issues and effectively guide a person towards the right support.

The Mental Health First Aid England accredited course is valued at £300 RRP but we are bringing this to you for the cost of £199 + VAT per person. It is not restricted to just those that work in the events team, this is open to your entire organisation.

MHFA England and the old 2-day course is now going to be split over 4 short sessions with some home learning. It will still result in you being MHFA trained the same as the 2-day course, just delivered differently over 4 half days. A certificate, workbook and manual will be sent after your attendance.

Course Info:
Monday 14th Dec 10:00-13:00
Tuesday 15th Dec 10:00-13:30
Wednesday 16th Dec 10:00-13:00
Thursday 17th Dec 10:00-13:00

Cost: £199 + VAT pp, for anyone putting on more than 4 people on the course, this can go down to £190 + VAT. Discount of £10 pp for MHFA alumni companies, pledgers and partners.
