FATHER’S DAY – CELEBRATE AT HOME
Whilst Searcys are really looking forward to welcoming you back again soon, this Father’s Day they are celebrating with personalised gifts and offers to celebrate with Dad at home.

15% OFF FREEDOM BEER
FREE UK DELIVERY

Searcys’ house beer is supplied by an independent brewery from Staffordshire, Freedom Beer. The brewery is over 25 years old and is one of the largest independent breweries in the UK. It has its own unique natural spring water source. Freedom Brewery’s amazing lager is matured for a minimum of 28 days, ensuring their beer has a rounder, balanced more refined taste. The long maturation enables their lager to secondary-ferment and becomes naturally carbonated, producing a finer, champagne-like bubble, lighter and easier drinking beer.

Freedom Brewery’s beer is unpasteurised to keep all those beautiful flavours within the final product and all its beers are Vegan Society-certified.

Freedom Beer is offering Searcys customers 15% off and free UK delivery on all orders. Use code ‘Searcys2020‘ to redeem your discount - click HERE

A CHARITY COOKBOOK
Searcys has been supporting Beyond Food, a London hospitality charity, for over two years. It is a unique charity offering a real way out of, or away from, homelessness in London.

People come to Beyond Food with a desperate need to get their lives back together, to be able to find a job and then to find secure housing. It starts with training – learning about food, cooking and how to work in a professional kitchen. If you’ve been to Brigade in Tooley St, you’ll know that Beyond Food apprentices create wonderful food.

After they complete their training, Beyond Food helps them find and retain a job – a paid job in a hotel or restaurant. The support doesn’t stop; the charity is always there to help them smooth out any difficulties that arise. It’s not easy to transition from unemployment and homelessness to full time job and a flat to manage.

But that was all before Covid-19 arrived and everything changed.

We all know that the hospitality industry will take years to recover from the lockdown, and the sector is bracing itself for up to two million unemployed / redundant staff. Beyond Food has adapted its services with remarkable agility to prevent ‘hospitality homelessness’ – a real risk for thousands of catering professionals – and especially those who are already vulnerable and new to the sector. The charity is still there for its clients. The Brigade is closed until at least September, but the training and support programmes are being reconfigured so that they can continue.

Beyond Food was lucky to be selected for the Aviva Community Fund crowdfunding support programme. Our page is already live - please click on this link and donate whatever you can afford. https://www.avivacommunityfund.co.uk/feast/backers#start

You’ll notice that there are some amazing rewards to be had as well! Simon Boyle, Beyond Food’s Chef Founder has compiled an amazing cookbook with over 120 chefs donating inspiring recipes to mention just one. Thank you so much in advance. Your support is greatly appreciated and will make a real difference. Look out for Searcys summer recipe as well.
