Ten of the meeting and event industry’s brightest stars have been named as the winners of the Tomorrow’s Talent initiative, launched by The Meetings Show.
The initiative, sponsored by London & Partners, aims to champion talented newcomers to the industry and provide a platform for nurturing, mentoring and supporting the industry leaders of the future.
Entries were judged by a panel of leading industry experts, who are Paul Harvey, editor, M⁢ Paul Black, head UK, London & Partners; Patrick Delaney, managing partner, SoolNua; Fiona Macdonald, senior manager business events, VisitBritain; Ryan Curtis-Johnson, head of marketing and PR, DRPG; Leigh Cowlishaw, managing partner, Black Box Partnerships, Priya Narain, co-founder, Event First Steps and Jack Marczewski, event director, The Meetings Show.
Now in its third year, Tomorrow’s Talent is designed to shine a light on the meeting and events industry’s rising stars. This year’s initiative was open to any talented event planner or buyer aged 30 and under.
All entrants were assessed for their achievements to date, ability to face challenges, drive and ambition, engagement with the wider industry and the future impact they could make.

Jack Marczewski, event director, The Meetings Show, said: “On behalf of The Meetings Show and the rest of the judges I would like to congratulate our 10 Tomorrow’s Talent winners. Despite the impact of the pandemic on our industry and jobs over the last 18 months, we were thrilled to not only receive a high number of entries, but also entries of such a high calibre.
“This has meant it’s been a tough task to determine our 10 winners, but it is a positive sign that the industry has such a passionate, dedicated and talented workforce who will be leading us into the future. It is a pleasure to be able to highlight and support emerging talent through our Tomorrow’s Talent initiative.”
The Tomorrow’s Talent winners will be invited as VIPs to The Meetings Show at ExCeL London on 30 September and 1 October and to attend a lunch, hosted by the London Convention Bureau on a date yet to be confirmed.
