TranslateAble, the only dedicated language agency for the events industry, is proud to announce its ongoing partnership with {10-11} Carlton House Terrace (1011CHT), becoming the venue’s recommended event language partner.

Situated in the heart of Westminster, London, {10-11} Carlton House Terrace is home to The British Academy. This spectacular Grade I listed Georgian townhouse is renowned for its rich history and distinctive event spaces. In November 2024, the venue officially unveiled its newly developed, versatile event spaces following a £9.6 million refurbishment.

Beyond its physical transformation, the venue has also undertaken an official accessibility audit and is implementing a programme of improvements as part of its ongoing commitment to enhancing inclusivity. The partnership with TranslateAble will further this mission by ensuring language is never a barrier to participation, whether for the venue’s internal events team or event professionals hosting their events at 1011CHT.

Through this collaboration, event organisers at 1011CHT will have access to TranslateAble’s expert multilingual services, including interpretation, captioning and translation.

"We have been working with the {10-11} Carlton House Terrace team for a number of years, and we are now thrilled to continue our partnership as they enhance their efforts to create an accessible and inclusive event space. Language is a fundamental part of inclusivity, and we look forward to working together to make every event at 1011CHT welcoming and accessible to all."

Julia Danmeri, CEO and Founder of TranslateAble

Marion Baros, Venue Business Development & Marketing Manager commented: “The team at {10-11} Carlton House Terrace is thrilled to embark on a closer collaboration with TranslateAble. As we look ahead to 2025, we recognise it as a pivotal year for our venue, with accessibility becoming an increasingly essential requirement for events. By strengthening this partnership, we aim to ensure our venue is welcoming and inclusive for all guests.”

This partnership marks an exciting step for both TranslateAble and 1011CHT, reinforcing their shared commitment to fostering more inclusive event experiences.
