The Bedfordshire conference, training and leisure venue won the Best Green Initiative title for its innovative Room2Give scheme, which encourages energy saving and support in the local community. Every time a guest opts out of room cleaning, they can choose where a donation is made on their behalf to the Room2Give fund which supports 3 local charities. Since its launch this year the scheme has raised more than £31,000.
It also won Best Marketing Campaign for its ‘More Than Monday to Friday: How We Unlocked the Power of Weekend Events’ and took the runner-up award in the Best Conference Centre/ Hotel category.
