Role Description:
We’re looking for a Project Manager to take ownership of delivering exceptional live events from concept to completion. You’ll be at the heart of each project—working closely with clients, internal teams, and suppliers to bring ideas to life while ensuring technical excellence and commercial success. This is a hands-on role combining project management, client engagement and technical delivery.
Our Expectations:
As Project Manager at Cue, you are the person who makes things happen — from the first client conversation to the final kit check back in the warehouse. You will manage events end-to-end: quoting, planning, crewing, operating on-site, and invoicing — often across the same week.
You'll work across live, virtual, and hybrid events for a diverse client base, delivering exceptional technical production with the full weight of Cue's reputation behind you.
This is not a role that keeps you in front of a screen all day, this is a role to own the result and be proud of it.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Proven technical AV experience in a live events or production environment.
- A good understanding of audio consoles, video switching systems, LED/projection, and content playback.
- Experience managing virtual and hybrid events, including streaming platforms.
- Strong commercial awareness — you understand margins, you chase invoices, you own your numbers.
- Excellent client-facing communication skills — articulate, confident, and professional under pressure.
- Full UK driving licence (you will be driving company vans regularly).
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and overnight stays as events demand.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail across paperwork and kit management.
Desirable:
- Familiarity with booking systems (e.g. IntelliEvent or similar)
- IPAF, First Aid, or manual handling certification
- Familiarity with ISO 9001/14001 quality and environmental management systems.
- Knowledge of working for corporate events, conferences and awards ceremonies.
- Strong technical knowledge of sound, lighting, video, and streaming
- Experience delivering hybrid and virtual events
- Understanding of health & safety compliance in live environments
- Experience in supplier negotiation and procurement
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or event plans
- Experience working on corporate events or large-scale conferences

Respectful: We listen, discuss and deliver with respect
Inspirational: We work smarter
